I value curiosity, authenticity and integrity. I want to make this world a better place. And be friends with those who think this way.

I wanna be the kind of person people can come to for support and perspective. I believe everyone has good in them. It just takes time to see it.

Doing random tech related jobs around the world sounds like a good idea to me, I’d like to explore the world as much as possible, then pick the ones I love to happily retire.

TIME LINE FOR CONTEXT

  • 2001: born in Nancheng, Jiangxi
  • 2001: moved to Suzhou, Jiangsu
  • 2001 to 2021: grew up and studied in Suzhou, finished 2 years of bachelor’s study in Information and Computing Science at XJTLU, interned at a tech consulting company
  • 2021 to 2023: moved to Liverpool, England to get a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at University of Liverpool, joined an LGBTQ+ society, had fun exploring the UK & Europe, interned at a Liverpool startup & worked remotely for a healthcare company
  • 2023 to 2025: moved to New York City to earn my master’s degree at Cornell Tech in Information Systems
  • 2025: moved to Tampa, FL after getting a job that allows me to work fully remotely, just 10 minutes away from the beach
  • 2026: moved to Tokyo, Japan. The public transportation is superb, food is great, let alone the amazing 24/7 convenience stores. Hopefully I get to improve my Japanese and make more friends here.

I’M AMBITIOUSLY FOCUSED ON CREATING

To me, writing is a way of expressing myself, aka creating. I started writing diaries since primary school. A good way to let my creativity out.

I chose tech-focused major for my bachelor’s & master’s degree because I feel like machine language is more universal, an app update can affect millions of people easily. By combining my love for literature with my computer science knowledge, I can reach a broader audience, essentially getting more feedback, which helps me better understand the world.

In this way, I can make people’s lives easier. I also write articles in Chinese on Xiaohongshu on how to stop self-sabotaging, accept you for who you are, and start loving yourself. I have all the love in the world & I’m happy to share it.

Self expression is a form of art in my opinion, I wouldn’t stop expressing, creating, and loving as long as I can.

MY LIFE PHILOSOPHY

  • Be authentic. Follow your heart.
  • Everybody’s gonna die one day, and that’s for a fact, might as well make the most of your life.
  • No need to hate or be jealous of anyone. Spiritually speaking, everyone you meet is you in different reincarnation. Being kind to others is being kind to your future & past self.
  • Don’t judge. People make decisions based on their previous experience, I don’t know their life 100%, who am I to judge. Also by not judging, you’ll feel less judged by others, too. Very liberating experience.
  • What you give out you receive 10x in return, that’s why I only speak positive stuff, giving out positive energy, being in high vibration/ frequency to connect with my highest self. I only give & receive positive energy.
  • I wish all the best for everyone, even if I disapprove of some of their decisions.
  • Humans don’t need much to survive on this planet. Eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and maintain good relationships with people around you is the key to happiness.
  • Use free time to explore your hobbies & do what you love.
  • Money is a tool that helps me experience different things, as long as it can support my lifestyle I’m fine.
  • There’s no meaning to one’s life, we’re all put on this earth to experience stuff, might as well take what life gives you, accept it. Everything happens for the best.
